How to use CBGA?

consume cbga oil

The CBGA is probably the cannabinoid less known by the gerneral public,  despite its many virtues. Indeed, it has long been forgotten in favour of other cannabinoids such as CBD or CBG. But thanks to scientific research and discoveries, it is now possible to consume CBGA to enjoy its benefits on the body. So how do you consume CBGA ?

What is CBGA and what are its benefits?

The CBGA is a cannabigerolic acid. It is one of the first cannabinoids present in the hemp plant, and has two crucial roles. It regulates the size of the plant in order to save and direct energy to where it is needed. It does this by destroying superfluous cells in a targeted manner.

The CBGA is also responsible for the production of the three main cannabinoidsTHCA CBDA and CBNA. Thus CBGA is called the "mother of all cannabinoids". Following exposure to heat, a decarboxylation process takes place. THCA becomes THC CBDA becomes CBD, andcannabigerolic acid disappears almost completely, turning into CBD, THC and some CBG.

Following scientific research, it was discovered that CBGA could have important therapeutic properties. Indeed, it could be used in certain medical treatments, such as the fight against certain cancers like colon cancer, or epileptic seizures in children.

But thecannabigerolic acid also has benefits for everyone. It is said to be able to prevent cardiovascular disease, especially in diabetics, but also to regulate and improve metabolism.

The CBGA has anti-inflammatory effects. It helps to calm inflammation and strengthen the immune system. It is also an anti-anxiety agent acting on the central nervous system. Thus, it is able to regulate mood and alleviate depression. By preventing the production of oxidative stresscannabigerolic acid prevents certain skin problems, such as premature ageing.

Consuming CBGA in oil form

The best way to consume CBGA is in the form of oil.

It is more complicated to extract the CBGA because it is in an acidic form. Thus, it should not be exposed to heat, or it may be converted into other cannabinoids. The extraction ofcannabigerolic acid must therefore be extracted cold. The oil of CBGA is then mixed with a carrier oil, such as hemp seed oil.

It is advisable to consume CBGA OIL oil orally, for example by placing a few drops under the tongue. Cannabigerolicacid is not a psychoactivecannabinoid, but its effects are more powerful than those of CBG or CBD. It is therefore recommended to start with a low dose and gradually increase it until the desired effects are achieved.

Combining CBGA and CBDA

Combining the CBGA with other cannabinoidscan increase the effects. Indeed, whencannabigerolic acid is consumed together with another cannabinoidan entourage effect occurs. This means that the effects of the different extracts form a synergy, increasing their potency.

Thus, it is particularly interesting to combine the CBGA with CBDAas theentourage effecteffect is enhanced, multiplying the benefits ofcannabigerolic acid. It is important to remember that the difference between CBD and CBDA is that CBDA is the acid form of CBD, present in hemp before the plant is exposed to heat. On the other hand, the effects of CBDA are more potent than those of CBD in the same dose. The CBDA also has a faster and longer lasting effect on the body.
